Lagoom Living and IKEA sign a strategic alliance to drive a new model of affordable rental housing

Lagoom Living and IKEA have signed a nationwide strategic alliance to bring design, interior design and furnishing solutions into the affordable rental housing developments the company promotes in Spain.

The agreement is a further step in the evolution of Lagoom Living’s residential model, reinforcing its commitment to developing homes that combine quality, functionality and sustainability.

The collaboration will make it possible to integrate IKEA’s expertise from the earliest design stages of each development, incorporating solutions that optimise spaces and improve the residential experience of the people who will live in them. It also includes specific services for future residents, making it easier to access solutions tailored to each home from day one.

This alliance stems from a shared view of the role the home plays in people’s quality of life. Both companies share a culture based on accessibility, functional design and sustainability — values they now bring together to the development of affordable rental housing.

Lagoom Living is currently developing close to 2,000 affordable rental homes across Málaga and Seville, in a new stage of growth and nationwide expansion.
