Simed 2025 has been an ideal space to reinforce our role in the development of affordable rental housing in Malaga.
During these two days, our CEO, Javier Braza Delgado, welcomed numerous institutional representatives to our stand, including the Mayor of Malaga, Francisco de la Torre Prados; the president of the Malaga Provincial Council, Francisco Salado; and the Regional Minister for Development, Territorial Coordination and Housing of the Andalusian Regional Government, Rocío Diaz Jimenez, as well as various public officials and industry representatives who came to see the progress of our projects first-hand.
Our presence at SIMED allowed us to highlight the value of the public-private partnership model, which is key to responding to real housing needs and promoting balanced urban development.
We would also like to highlight our participation in the SIMED – ACP Meeting Point: Among Leaders, where our CEO addressed the current challenges facing the sector and stressed the importance of working with clarity, coordination and long-term strategies, as we are doing, with an increasingly robust public-private partnership.
In this context, Javier Braza spoke to Canal Málaga RTV, Canal Sur Televisión, Capital Radio (Business), RNE and the SIMED press team, sharing our vision on planning, efficiency and responsibility in the promotion of affordable housing.
In addition, Onda Cero Málaga broadcast live from our stand a programme hosted by Isabel Naranjo García, in which we participated alongside:
- José María López Cerezo, manager of the Municipal Housing Institute of Malaga City Council and president of the Spanish Association of Public Housing and Land Managers-AVS Gestores Públicos.
- Álvaro Ruiz Ávila, director of construction for Spain and Portugal at SACYR.
- Laura Fernández, general director of ASVAL ASOCIACIÓN.
- Antonio de la Fuente Abajo, residential CEO of Colliers.
- Rocío Díaz, Minister of Development, Territorial Coordination and Housing.
Beyond the institutional activity, these conferences have been an opportunity to consolidate the work of our team, which has demonstrated solvency, preparation and an excellent ability to represent our projects and values.
