Our CEO, Javier Braza, received the Andalucía Inmobiliaria Award for Outstanding Innovative Project 2025 in Seville for SUP-T8 Distrito Universidad, a project that reflects our understanding of housing: affordable, sustainable and high quality.
This was a very special event that reminds us of the value of a job well done and the importance of joining forces between administrations, companies and professionals to move towards a more balanced, innovative and responsible sector.
Distrito Universidad, financed with Next Generation funds from the European Union and with support from the Official Credit Institute (ICO) through the Recovery and Resilience Facility, will provide Malaga with 530 affordable social housing units, consolidating its position as the first smart city for affordable housing in Spain.
This pioneering project is the result of collaboration between the Spanish Government, the Regional Government of Andalusia and Malaga City Council, and represents an innovative model of urban development that combines sustainability, accessibility and social commitment.
A housing model with a positive impact
Distrito Universidad integrates sustainability, industrialisation and social commitment to respond to the challenge of access to housing. Its design prioritises energy efficiency, quality of life and community building, with a replicable model that sets a new standard in the promotion of affordable housing in Spain.
This recognition highlights a way of working based on public-private collaboration and the aim of generating a positive impact on cities.
We would like to thank Andalucía Inmobiliaria, the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Andalusia (CEA) and the jury for recognising a project that was created with a transformative vision.
