Applicant Requirements

It can be requested by natural persons of legal age, with full civil powers, who meet the requirements of these bases and the current regulations on protected housing in Malaga; If there is a family unit, the request refers to its owners.

No, neither the applicant nor any member of the family unit can be the owner of another housing, protected or free, nor have a real right of enjoyment or enjoyment over it life at the time of submitting the application nor on the date of signing the document of adjudication.

Minimum and maximum income, rental fee and chargeable expenses

You must prove minimum income per family unit or cohabitation (last fiscal year expired) of: €25,280 per year for 1-bedroom homes (including adapted and dependency), and €34,600 annually for 3- and 4-bedroom homes.

The maximum income per family or cohabitation unit is equivalent to 5.5 times the IPREM, with corrective coefficients applied, leaving the limit: €53,720.93 per year for units with 1 member, and €71,076.92 annually for units with 2 members or 3 or more members.

The family income defined in the protected housing legislation is considered, taking as reference the general tax bases and personal income tax savings (in the 2024 declaration, boxes 435 and 460), of the last tax period with a deadline of expired presentation of the members of the family unit.
