Lagoom Living, a benchmark in the affordable rental housing sector through public-private collaboration in Spain, has signed a collaboration agreement with IKEA Malaga as part of its 'Distrito Universidad' project, a development comprising a total of 530 homes for affordable rent in Malaga.

This alliance brings together two companies of Swedish origin with a common philosophy based on practical, affordable design focused on the well-being of the home, thus reinforcing the accessibility and comfort of future residents.

Direct benefits for tenants

The tenants of these homes will be able to access exclusive conditions to furnish their new home comfortably and affordably: a 10% discount on IKEA furniture and accessories, applicable to a single purchase with a minimum value of 390 euros.

Distrito Universidad advances with the launch of its first phase

Distrito Universidad, with a total of 530 homes for affordable rent in Malaga, is establishing itself as one of the most relevant protected rental housing developments in the country. Conceived under criteria of sustainability, efficiency and quality, the project not only responds to the need for access to affordable housing, but also incorporates services and partnerships that improve the residential experience.

An informational website will soon be enabled where interested parties can consult all the documentation, terms and requirements of the process. Plot R3, delivered in this first phase, is one of the key pieces of the development and consists of 62 homes: 19 one-bedroom, 9 three-bedroom and 34 four-bedroom.
